Fire-Roasted Tomato Vegetarian Chili
Our Fire-Roasted Tomato Vegetarian Chili is made by a slow simmer of pinto beans, kidney beans, fire-roasted diced Tomatoes, corn, lime, red bell pepper, onion and chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.
Fire-Roasted Tomato Beef Chili
Our Fire-Roasted Tomato Beef Chili is made by a slow simmer of fire-roasted tomatoes, fresh peppers, onions, fire-roasted green chilies with Ancho Chili Powder and precooked bacon and ground-beef meat.
Fire-roasting tomatoes brings out the tomatoes’ sweetness and, creates a light smoky flavour. SFMTY roasts whole tomatoes over a flame, charring the skin. Tomatoes are delicious (fresh or roasted), contain many health benefits; Vitamin C, Potassium, and Folate, and are relatively low in calories, carbs, and fat.
And since SFMTY Chef has perfected roasting tomatoes, we tried roasting fresh Green Chilli Peppers to add to our Fire-roasted TomatoBeef Chili. The fire-roasted chili peppers add a bit more smoke and charred flavours. Peppers are high in fiber and low in calories, a source of carotenoids – a plant compound that have antioxidant properties.
For our Fire-Roasted Tomato Vegetarian Chili, Chipotle Peppers in Adobo sauce has been added. Chipotle peppers are a medium-hot dried and smoked jalapeno pepper, and the Adobo Sauce – made from tomatoes, vinegar and various spices, has a tangy, sweet with heat taste.
